Florals: Art Exhibit

Jeanette Mattson was born and raised in Boston, MA, and moved to Syracuse’s University
neighborhood in 1971. While in elementary school, she studied art at the Boston Museum of
Fine Arts School. In 1979, she received a B.A. from Syracuse University, where she studied Art
History, as well as Fabric Design with Rick Wolf and Edward Fricke. She worked as a Designer
at Syracuse China, and is a member of Associated Artists of Central New York. Jeanette has had
several exhibits at Petit Branch Library, and is happy to be returning to Petit with FLORALS, an
exhibit of watercolor paintings of flora from Puerto Rico to Central Park and points in between.
