This gambrel-roof cottage style house is similar to house types published in the American Architect and Building News in 1900 and the Radford Architectural Company’s catalog America Homes: 100 House Plans of 1903, but this house was not built until after 1908. There are many examples of houses with gambrel roofs in the neighborhood (such as 709 Ackerman), but most of more overtly Colonial Revival in style.
