This one-and-a-half-story gable front, single-family bungalow type house is influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement. Gable roof dormers with overhanging eaves and rafter tails are on each side, creating the effect of a continuous cross-gable roof. The first story is built of brick and the large front gable with overhanging eaves, is finished in stucco, with three narrow rectangular windows within a rectilinear half-timber design near the apex.

Despite the size of the front gable, the overall appearance of the house is horizontal, with the house facade and off-center front porch much wider than high. The brick porch consists of two wide bays, the northernmost of which overlaps with the gable front. Brick piers support an very low hipped roof which seems nearly flat.
