Art Exhibit – Exploring Southern Italy: Paintings by Maria Rizzo

Maria Rizzo’s new oil paintings are a tribute to her travels to southern Italy and Sicily, favorite destinations of the artist due to her heritage and having spent much time there as a child. The breathtaking view of the blue Mediterranean Sea, its rocky shores, pink mountains, charming old cities, ancient ruins, colored with aromatic green patches of pinewoods, olive, almond and lemon groves, and giant cacti plants inspire Rizzo’s art.
