2016 series of monthly programs at Petit Branch Library.

Please join us for an opportunity to experiment with different methods of self knowledge, awareness, and healing. Practitioners and experts from our community will present interactive programs on topics such as meditation, herbs, Qigong, Reiki, chanting, and more. Presenters include Marie Summerwood, Dolores Card, Debra Lee Gertz, and others.
Programs will take place on the fourth Monday of every month at 6 p.m.

We do love to chant. And not only is it a pleasure, it’s actually good for your brain, your body and your being. Come prepared to chant, to relax and to talk about the spiritual sound that is chanting. Yes, come prepared to chant. With all those books, I bet the library has some great acoustics.

(Marie Summerwood has two CDs of women’s sacred music, She Walks with Snakes and Step into the River. She has a lot to say about this topic and a lot of chants to chant.)
