Petit’s Summer Concert Series: Jim Murphy

Join us at Petit for a special reading and performance by Jim Murphy. He will perform several of his blues fingerpicking pieces and talk about the fingerpicking technique he uses. He will also provide a brief history of himself and his role as the founder and director of the NYS Blues and Irish Festivals and the impact they continue to have on the region. Lastly, he will read some poetry from his book Poetry from a Road Scholar.
