Big Yellow Taxi, New England’s premier Joni Mitchell tribute band, brings Joni’s extraordinary music to life. From her early folk roots to pop masterpieces and jazz-inspired compositions, Big Yellow Taxi immerses audiences in the emotional depth and brilliance of Joni’s work.
Led by vocalist Teresa Lorenço, whose expressive voice captures Joni’s sweet, husky and bell-like tones, the band delivers an intimate journey through Joni’s best-loved songs. The performance transcends mere tribute, offering a genuine experience of Joni’s musical genius that leaves audiences entertained, moved and inspired.
Formed in 2021 and based in Northampton, MA, Big Yellow Taxi also features John Cabán on guitars, Robert Sherwood on keyboards, Joe Fitzpatrick on drums, and Rich Cahillane on bass.
