Whooooo’s There with Young Naturalists

With fall in full swing, what better time of year is there to explore the lives of Syracuse’s owls? Join Young Naturalists and discover whooo these birds are and why they’re so important to our nighttime animal communities. Learn what it means to be nocturnal, how some owls use special feathers to sense prey, and even try your hand at owl pellet (aka hairball) dissections for clues about these bird’s secretive lives!

Recommended for ages 5 – 12, but all are welcome.
