HOLIDAY FULL MOON AND LANTERN WALK AND TALK IN OAKWOOD CEMETERY

Please join us and enjoy the December full “cold” moon for a short walk around Section B area. We’ll have some stories to share about some of the folks buried there. Many of them manufactured goods or were selling items that impacted lifestyles and households. Some provided many Holiday Day memories for a lot of us. You’ll be surprised by who’s here!
When: Thursday 12/12 at 6:30 pm
Where: Oakwood Cemetery Section B. Use the entrance on Comstock Ave just south of the Cemetery Office. Right across for the mausoleum and crematorium.
Please dress warm for the weather. Bring a flashlight if you like. We’ll have few lanterns to share. Bring your singing voice in case spontaneous caroling breaks out!
Afterwards we would like to invite everyone to Willow Rock Brewery 115 Game Road Syracuse NY 13210 to warm up. They will be offering $1 off pints for everyone from the event.
