Tapping is defined as emotional acupressure. This class will teach the basic tapping sequences of gently tapping on meridian points of the head and neck to relieve common concerns such as anxiety\, fears\, or other debilitating emotions. Tapping can also be used to relieve chronic pain. It is not invasive\, needs no special equipment\, and causes no pain. It can be applied to the self and is easily taught to others. \nDolores Card has taught metaphysical principles and doctrines through classes\, seminars\, and workshops\, as well as Reiki certification\, for 25 years. This presentation will include discussion on acquaintance rape; relationship abuse; elder abuse\, neglect and exploitation; and sexual violence faced by gender and sexual minorities (LGBTQ+). \nStatistically\, someone you know is or will be the survivor of sexual or relationship violence. Those who attend will be presented with information on Vera House resources and will learn basic strategies for being an empowered bystander when witnessing violent behaviors\, and how you may be able to assist those you know by connecting them to appropriate resources.
