West of Westcott

This is one of Ward Wellington Ward’s simpler houses, and most of its Arts & Crafts details are evident on the interior. Still, the ornate porch and the variety of window sizes on the house are indicative of Ward’s work. The house is set up the hillside, at the very base of the drumlin. This provides good views to the north from inside. The second story bedrooms are higher than the houses across the street.

Until 2014, this was one of the few owner-occupied houses on Euclid Avenue between Comstock Avenue and Westcott Street.
