This is one of the older houses on the street, pre-dating 1908. It was built as a single family residence. A few distinctive features are the fine cut stone foundation, the slightly curved front bay, the pattern decorations on the frieze, just below the roof line, and the swag decoration on the frieze of the projecting side bay.
