This is essentially a typical American Four Square house with applied classical/colonial elements (porches, windows). The plan is roughly square and this is reflected in the hipped roof. Note the Corinthian pilasters on the entrance porch and the Palladian windows in the east and west (Westcott Street) attic level dormers. The dressed field stone foundation is an indication of its turn-of-the-20th-century date.
