The Old Neighborhood Part I
Stop #21
416 Westcott Street
- Built: 1890s
- Architect: Unknown
This simple variant of the traditional homestead house consists of two parts; a gable fronted wing with porch facing the street and perpendicular back wing creating something like a compressed T-plan for the structure. While the house has recently had its windows replaced, it retains it original window frames as well as it wooden siding and decorative design in the gable.
