This house is one of the group first developed on this tract by Daniel Rosenbloom. Built at the turn of the 20th century, the house is typical of the transitional style of the era when ornate Queen Anne style houses were being replaced by simpler forms. Still, this house probably once has a more varied appearance with different types of siding – including clapboard and shingles. now,  monochromatic and angular vinyl siding covers the entire house, including the large gables. most likely much of the original siding survives beneath.

The stone foundation is original but probably supported a more impressive porch on the front, similar to what can still be seen on some contemproary houses on Allen Street.
