The Old Neighborhood Part I
Stop #74
736 South Beech Street
- Built: ca. 1910
- Architect: Unknown
This double-decker house is similar to # 702, but the façade arrangement is more nuanced. Instead of having two nearly matching porches, the design is stacked so that elements decrease in size and number from bottom to top. The ground floor porch has four piers, the second story porch just two end piers and finally the roof-level dormer has two smaller windows.
