Blue Light Bandits is a four piece groove band from New England. BLB serves a fresh sound with a smooth combination of funk, pop, and rock, with vintage flavoring and lush harmonies. The band plays almost 200 shows a year, as both their original songs and their party blend of hip hop covers is always in high demand.

BLB has shared the stage with Badfish in Syracuse, NY and won Rhode Island’s Club Fete Battle of the Bands in 2014. Their music has been featured on CMJ, Hot Indie News, and aired on WXRV, Boston’s Independent Radio. 2015 included a small summer tour for BLB and a Rhode Island vineyard circuit. The most notable shows included Carolynn’s Sakonnet Vineyard, a sold out show at Westport Rivers Vineyard, and a feature performance at Black Potatoe Music Festival in Clinton, NJ.

A recording project is currently underway at Boston’s Q Division Studios through Converse RubberTracks. With a growing fan base across the east coast, BLB is gearing up for their first full length album.
