What is a Repair Café?
Repair Cafés are free community repair events where skilled volunteer Repair Coaches (“fixers”) help guests fix their broken items. These events help shift the throwaway culture mindset—instead of ditching it when it breaks, try fixing it first and extend the item’s life! Repair Cafés are part of a circular economy keeping materials out of the landfill—they help folks save money, reduce waste, and build community together.
