Haunted Oakwood Cemetery Walking Tour (With Vegan Snacks!)

Looking for something fun to do this Halloween season? Join the friendly folks of Vegan CNY for a walking tour of Oakwood Cemetery on Saturday, October 12th from 3:00-5:00! Oakwood Cemetery has a ghost trail, and we will take you to the most (allegedly) haunted graves and monuments. We will also share the intriguing history of some of Syracuse’s most notorious residents who are now interred in Oakwood.
This walking tour covers about 2.5 miles on some uneven and hilly ground, so please wear comfortable sneakers or hiking shoes and bring your water bottle. We will provide some yummy Halloween-themed vegan snacks to fortify us along the hike!
Our walk will begin by the main cemetery gates on Comstock Ave. (across the street from the Islamic Society). There is parking just down the lane from the main gate by the cemetery office building.
