Join architectural historian Sam Gruber on June 9 for a new neighborhood architecture walking tour – of Gifford Manor on Syracuse’s Eastside. Parts of this area were intended to a “spanish Town” with more than 20 Spanish Revival houses. Because of the Great Depression, only 8 were ever built. Sam says this is one of the Syracuse neighborhoods he is most asked about – so he’ll bring along what he’s been able to find out.
