Syracuse Community Choir’s Concert in the Park! “The Right to Live in Peace”

Hosted by: Syracuse Community Choir

You are invited to Syracuse Community Choir’s Concert in Thornden Park! The concert will be near the pool, not in the amphitheater. (Bring chairs, blankets, your own dinner, flashlights, lanterns…). This will be our first in-person concert in over two years. We’re so excited to be with you!
Theme: The Right to Live in Peace / El derecho de vivir en paz
This concert will feature a collaboration with our long-time friends at The Paul Robeson Performing Arts Company, with poetry from youth “word warriors” in honor of the late Jackie Warren-Moore.
We will also be combining powers with a new local chapter of Rock Voices. Rock Voices is a non-auditioned, adult choir that sings only rock music from the 60s through present day. This season, they are singing songs by The Beatles, so they will join us for our shared rendition of Imagine.
