Teens: Make Your Own Tin Can Banjo

Part of what makes banjos special and uniquely American is that by tradition, a banjo player makes their own instrument. Come learn about the basic anatomy and history of the banjo, and make a simple two string, tin can banjo or “Canjo”, complete with tuners. After the program, teens will leave with a unique, handmade and functional instrument. Space is limited. Registration required.
