East Siders who want to get a word in edgewise with the Syracuse Police Department should consider putting a reminder in their calendars:

• Westcott Neighborhood Watch next gathers alongside nearby groups for what’s now scheduled as an in-person meeting (with an option for virtual attendance), Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024, starting 6:30 pm, and lasting for about one hour.

In-person participation will be at Petit Library, 105 Victoria Place.

Virtual participation relies on a Zoom link, which will be forwarded as soon as it becomes available. To get it, email beforehand <garamondo36@gmail.com>.

For those who have really exceptional memories and are really organized, the schedule for Westcott NW is the 3rd Thursday of every odd month (Jan., March, May, July, Sept., Nov.).
