Art Exhibit: Mainly Maine by Annette Waterman (throughout Oct.)

From the artist: My work is inspired by Maine’s rocky coast, tidal mudflats, and fog-shrouded islands disappearing into the Atlantic. After 30 years in Syracuse, I decided to spend my retirement years in Maine back on the coastline where I went to art school and spent many a blissful day drawing the rocks of Two Lights. My current medium is watercolor, which I have not used for many years, and I seek to master the challenges of this transparent and unforgiving medium to reflect the shoreline and surroundings that captivate me.
